Our course

We are studying second year of ASIR. ASIR means Administration of informatic systems in network. This is a high level cicle. We are studying in Maristak, that is located in Durango, Bizkaia, on the north of Spain.

In the first course we learned network administration, hardware basics, operating system implementation, training and career counseling and markup languages and information management systems.

Now on the second course we are learning operating system administration, Network and Internet services, implementation of web application, administration of database management systems, security and high availability, business and entrepreneurship and english. Finally, we need to do some formation in work centers and a final project.

The course goals are to learn  to create a webpage and all the thing that it needs to work. 

The methodology used in Maristak is ETHAZI, like we explained on the other page. We are evaluated by doing challenges and some exams, but the most important is the challenge.

The material we are using are all on the Internet, and we only use the computer to do all the work.

The evaluation has two parts. One with exams of each modules, that is the 80% of the final mark and the 20% remaining are the transversal competences.  With those marks we are going to obtain the final mark of each modules in the challenge.
