Sixteenth week

Hello again our lovely followers. this is our final week of the course and the superior grade but some of the classmates that we have Dual formation we have to go to the company to work like a normal employe. 

As you know last friday we did the third challenge presentation in areto txikia with two of our teachers, Xabi and Ricardo. The presentation was very good, and all the question that asked we answered well. They say us that we have a good product, that everything works, but that we can improve some aspects of the challenge.

This week aitor was studying for the recuperation have with ricardo. That recuperation consist  on the configuration of the proxy and sow that it works very well. He passed without difficulties the recuperation.

On thursday we have practice a little bit the exam of Richard. We have done  some reading, we watch a film in original version and more. At 12:15 we have done the exam with a reading and four questions about the course and Maristak. On that questions we have to write our opinion about.

Fourteenth week

Fourteenth week

Hello again our lovely followers, it's nice to see you again here reading our blog. We are finally reaching the final week of the school.

During this last week, the most job was doing the groupal defenses with every teacher. All the defenses were the tuesday and wednesday, because monday was public holiday, and the thursday, we went to Eibar, to present the enterprise we've created, Dalango.

The tuesday, we had a defense with Xabi, and we showed him the Wordpress webpage that we have created, and later, we had another defense with Ricardo, were we showed him how the High availabity was done with different servers, and how we made the proxy server, Squid.

On wednesday, we had the defense with Gorka, that was about multimedia server, Plex, instant messaging server, ejabberd and about the email server, done with Postfix and Dovecot. 

This last defense wasn't the best of our defenses, but we think that we can pass them.

And finally, on friday, we will have another time the defense about the email server with Gorka, and the challenge presentation, with all the teachers, were we'll be showing them all the job we've been doing on this third challenge.

thirteenth week

thirteenth week

Hello again our lovely follower, we are going to explain what we did in this hard week with a lot of exams. 

With Ricardo we have done the exam of proxy, and we passed. Apart of this we finished High availability with four virtual machines. We install on another virtual machine Squid. This software is installed in a computer that acts as an intermediary for requests from clients.

With Gorka we have been investigating witch database table we have to optimize. We have done the exam of Streaming that we passed successfully. With  Xabi we continue doing the web page with wordpress and seeing if we have all the functionalities. With this we practice for the exam on friday.

With Richard, our english teacher, we have done a speaking exam. The exam consist to have a conversation with the teammate in other room with the teacher. The conversation was in moodle and the goal was to continue the conversation.

With Iratxe we have done the invoice template and delivery note template. We started posting invoice to do all the documents that have to register all companies when the year finished.

With all this there are 2 week remaining to finish the tirth challenge and the course in maristak. Because of this we have to finish all the different things we have to do in this challenge.

Hello our lovely followers. We are on the second week of the 2020 and we past the half of the
challenge and we are installing and writing the documentation.

With Ricardo we have done high availability with virtual machines, simulating 4 servers
to provide web service. We have four debian machines, two of them with apache, that are the
web servers, and the last couples are the machines with haproxy and keepalived.
With this, if one of the machines falls with that configuration the service will continue
running without problems.

With Xabi we are doing the web and studying for the exam we are going to do next friday.
The web and the exam consist to know how works wordpress.

With Iratxe we have done financial exercises. Consist on a balance sheet, profit and loss
account and treasury forecast. With Javier we have done the documentation of samba and
the next week we are going to do the presentation of samba.

The next week we have three exams so we have to study a little bit.
We have exam on monday of Proxy , on Tuesday we have with Gorka Streaming and finally
friday wordpress.

Eleventh week

Eleventh week

Hello again our lovely followers. We are on the last week of the 2019 and we are going to explain what we are doing on the third challenge.

As we said before, we are on the las week and we have to leave prepared some works because we don't have much time to do all the tasks of  challenge. 

With Javi we have done a print server task, that consist to  install on the Debian 9 a print server. We install CUPS on the debian and we add a printer and configured. We configured the clients Windows and Ubuntu to have the printer available, that they could print documents on that printer.

On Tuesday, we have class with Iratxe and she proposed to our group and other people to create a company, to offer computing technical support and assistant. 

Today that is Thursday. We had a meeting with another teacher to start creating the company.

Tenth week

Tenth week

Hello again our lovely followers. Like you know, we are going to explain what we did the last week. This week we started with the information search about different services we have to put in the server.

Before start with the third challenge, on Monday we have done with xabi the defense of the web page. After that the teacher explain us what we have to improve  of the web page. 

On Monday, we went to the Basque Cybersecurity center located in Gasteiz. They explain us what they do and they show their installations. After the  explanation we went to another building that is called tecnalia. In that building we play a game that consist in to hack a web page with a virtual machine that includes a kali linux with hacking tools. The goal of this game was with our knowledges and clues, steal money of another person.

Finally in thursday we have done an oral presentation with richard. In this presentation we explain the 5G wireless technology. Therewith, we finished all of the second challenge  and we start we the third challenge. We are waiting to the grades to see if we have to recover any subjects.

Ninth week

Ninth week

Hello again our lovely followers. Now we are going to explain a little bit, what we have do  this last week.

As you know we finished the second challenge last friday.  on that day we done a powerpoint summarizing what we have done in the second challenge. we split that presentation in 5 different sections. First of all we started explaining internet services like FTP, DHCP,WEB and DNS. We continued with Database administration, that consist to explain the creation of tables, users creation and give privileges..

The next topic was about Security and High availability. We show what we have done to protect our PC´s and  the LAN. After that we have show the web page and explain what it does like users login and sign up, delete users and more. Furthermore we explain how we can connect to the server with ssh and telnet. Finally, we show our company's creation with different documents like, marketing mix, canvas, internal regulation, the company's structure.

To finish we show the web page to the clients, explaining what they can do. Apart of this, we explain how they can transfer files to the server and download to the pc by FTP with filezilla.

Apart from this, we started with the third and last challenge of ASIR. The Clients explain as what they want for this challenge. This week we have done the planification and started with the printer server.
